resigned to debt
hungry and over-fed
weak and ignorant
blinded by faith
Taught with broken promises
buried in fear
answered in violence
taken advantage of
over and over and over
Intentionally mislead
mostly for the dollar
and sometimes for the fame
Suicidal and forgotten
destroying with each day
damning the dawn
Forgotten America
to proud to pretend
the dream has died
Welcoming the end
